Description
This is a photo from 1904 over looking the gold mining town of Kendall, Montana. The name Jim Andrews is on the photo. Jim Andrews also known as 'Red' Andrews was a young boy in Kendall during its early years and shared with me stories of Kendall. Red had a camera and took pictures of Kendall and the area. The main street of Kendall was called McKinley Avenue. On the reverse side is a small stamp with Red's name as he sold real estate in Billings, MT. The Kendall State Bank, Shaules Hotel and Wedge Saloon can be seen on the bottom left ...the first school at Kendall is the log cabin at the lower left foreground.WONDERFUL NOSTALGIC POSTCARD FOR YOUR COLLECTION!
